Stephen Schlanser creates these vessels with 3/4″ thick glass and deep etchings of text or unique patterns.  Furthermore, each piece is fired twice to arrive at the free-form and non-symmetrical shapes. Therefore, every Platter is different from the next and each vessel is truly a one-of-a-kind art glass vessel.

Stephen Schlanser is known for his highest quality of craftsmanship and expertise in kiln-fired glass.   For instance, he infuses his glass pieces with 24 karat gold or silver leaf to give them a unique richness and elegance.  In addition, each stunning artwork is a thick piece of glass that creates a solid and stable piece of art for any table or space.  Lastly, these pieces make fantastic gifts for any special occasion or house warming present.

Hamlet Speech – To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep; No more and by a sleep to say we end The heartache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to, ‘tis a consummation. Devoutly to be wish’d. At first his companions trusted him implicitly, and great were the delights of flying that they wasted time circling round church spires or any other tall objects on the way that took their fancy. Martin Luther King Speech – I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.
