The Kiss by Gustav Klimt - Glassmasters Stained Glass Window
The Kiss Stained Glass Window Design by Gustav Klimt
Gustav Klimt, (1862-1918) was an Austrian, who rose from childhood poverty to become an artist of enormous significance and popularity in the Modern Art movement. Klimt's "The Kiss" is sensually charged, embellished with black and rich in yellow-gold tones. "The Kiss," was created in 1907-1908 by Klimt, and is one of his most well known images. Only the lovers faces and hands are visible; the rest is great swirls of brilliant yellow and black, as if to express the loss of self that lovers feel in that moment. We hope that you enjoy Glassmasters' interpretation.
